Apply Via Snapchat

Apply to HubSpot via Snapchat on Wednesday, July 20th

This spring, two exciting developments happened here at HubSpot: we killed the cover letter, and we launched our very own Snapchat channel.

Now, we’re combining them: Recruiting meet Snapchat.

On July 20th, you can apply to be a Support Engineer at HubSpot exclusively through Snapchat. In lieu of a resume or cover letter, we are asking applicants to complete one simple task: Teach us something in 60 seconds or less. It can be anything. Literally anything. We just want to see the authentic you.

Check out the instructions below to find out how! There's only 60 seconds standing between you and your next job.

  • STEP 1

To do this, you will need to create up to six separate 10 second Snapchat videos of yourself. Record them one at a time and save each video to your phone using the downward arrow, pictured in the purple box on the right.

When you are finished, you should have up to six 10 second videos saved to your phone like below:

  • Start a new chat with @hubspotinc by clicking on the small speech bubble in the upper righthand corner of the screen and typing in “hubspotinc” under the “Chat with…” heading. Once you have started the chat, type your full name, email address, and phone number in the chat window.

  • In the same chat window, upload the videos (up to six) you saved to your phone in Step 1. Do this by clicking on the picture icon in the bottom left corner of the screen (purple box). This will pull up the videos and photos saved in your phone’s camera roll and will allow you to select the videos you created.

Note: the videos will upload and send as soon as you select them. Your final screen should look like this.

And voila! You’ve applied! HubSpot recruiters will review all the submissions and select the best ones for recruiter phone interviews.
