Some roles require in-person collaboration or proximity to an office - we'll always be up front about that so you can make an informed decision. Productivity isn't one-size-fits-all. We rely on Slack for real-time connection and collaboration, Zoom for all meetings, and G-Suite for sharing and creating together. Supported by a wide range of powerful virtual tools, our teams work effectively across regions, time zones, and personal work preferences. No matter where you are, you’ll always be able to connect and collaborate with ease.

Hybrid Work FAQs

Many roles at HubSpot are eligible for all three work preferences, though some roles require you to be office-based or in proximity to a certain office, based on the region. Your recruiter will set expectations during your initial conversations, or work preferences will be referenced in the job description.

@Home employees can visit the office a maximum of twice a quarter. Learn more on the remote work page.

Employees may work in a country where they have work authorization for up to 90 days as part of HubSpot's temporary mobility policy. Beyond the 90-day policy, employees are only eligible to work from the country in which they are already contracted to work. In other words, if you’ve been hired to work in Germany, and your role is eligible for @home work, you can work remotely in Germany.

Unfortunately no. You must work for the country you were hired to work from.

All employees will receive the following: laptop, monitor, headset, keyboard, mouse, cables/adapters. @home, @flex employees will have these shipped to their homes. HubSpot also provides monthly stipends to @home and @flex employees to set themselves up for success in home workspaces. @office employees receive a dedicated desk in their local office with all the equipment they need.

We ask that employees choose their working preference once per calendar year. However, if an employee experiences a qualifying life event (including but not limited to a move, a marriage, a divorce, the birth or adoption of a child, or a job change), you'll have the opportunity to update your selection in order to ensure their working preference still allows them to do their best work based on new circumstances.

Combined, HubSpot’s @home and @flex communities make up 93% of our employee population. This is why we dedicate a ton of resources to making sure all employees feel a sense of community and connection to our culture. We have a robust @home Meetup program with a quarterly budget to meet your local peers, in-office connection days, and remote champions distributed globally.
