Senior Marketer | Demand Marketing - Japan

We are seeking a Senior Marketer who will execute HubSpot's AI-powered demand generation in Japan. This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of data, AI, and marketing execution - creating YouTube content, AI-optimized blogs, and data-driven campaigns that drive measurable results.

You'll be building and scaling our AI-first marketing approach while working with rich customer data to personalize and optimize every touchpoint. The ideal candidate is a hands-on executor who leverages AI tools, analyzes performance data, and iterates quickly to optimize demand generation. You will work closely with our global marketing team to share learnings from the Japan market while adapting global insights for local success.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive measurable demand generation through strategic YouTube channel development, content performance optimization, and data-driven lead acquisition, leveraging AI insights where applicable
  • Execute AI-optimized content strategy - produce YouTube videos, blogs, and offers (such as eBooks, templates) using customer data insights, then analyze performance and iterate based on metrics to own the complete “data analysis” → “content optimization” → “improved results” cycle
  • Work closely with our global marketing team to share learnings from the Japan market while adapting global AI-powered strategies and insights for local success 

Qualifications:

  • Native Japanese speaker with business-level English proficiency and excellent communication skills in both languages
  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience with demonstrated success in demand generation and content marketing
  • Proven experience with AI marketing tools and data-driven content optimization with measurable results
  • Strong analytical skills and thrives in data-rich environments, where AI tools, customer insights, and marketing execution intersect
  • Hands-on YouTube and content creation experience including video production, AI-optimized blog writing, and offer development
  • Track record of personal execution - creating, launching, and optimizing marketing campaigns from concept to measurable results

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:

  • Creating YouTube content, creating AI-optimized blog posts and offers based on customer data analysis
  • Using AI tools for content ideation, optimization, and distribution strategy
  • Analyzing customer data to inform content strategy and campaign targeting
  • Running data-driven A/B tests and iterating content based on performance insights
