Lead Creative Producer, Global Events

Marketing

Remote - USA

POS-15275

Application Deadline: Tuesday, October 28th at 5pm ET

Role Summary

INBOUND is HubSpot's marquee annual event, bringing together more than 12,000 business professionals for an unparalleled conference experience. As the Lead Creative Producer, you'll design and deliver world-class experiential moments within your defined scope areas — bringing HubSpot's brand to life through creative vision, production rigor, and strategic collaboration. Working alongside other lead producers on the team, you'll own the end-to-end creative production of custom sponsor activations and evolve INBOUND's signature experiences to match our audience's ambitions. This is a rare opportunity to transform strategic ideas into physical experiences that inspire, connect, and delight attendees within a collaborative, multi-faceted production environment.

What You’ll Do

1. Develop the strategic vision and activation strategy for key INBOUND experiential components — setting business goals, success metrics, and frameworks that align activations with conference objectives.

2. Lead creative ideation with agencies and internal partners to produce bold, memorable “hero moments” that elevate the attendee journey and reflect HubSpot’s brand voice.

3. Translate stakeholder and business priorities into actionable creative briefs and frameworks, ensuring every experience delivers measurable impact and cohesion.

4. Oversee sponsor custom activation programs from concept to execution, ensuring creative solutions meet sponsor goals while upholding INBOUND standards.

5. Manage end-to-end production for key experiences, including budgets, timelines, materials, and logistics.

6. Lead design and brand reviews to ensure creative consistency across teams and external agencies.

7. Manage the overall budget for activations and experiences, negotiating with vendors and ensuring cost-effective concepts that uphold brand standards.

8. Direct on-site installation and fabrication to ensure all elements are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.

9. Partner cross-functionally with sponsorship sales team, sponsors and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment between creative and business outcomes.

10. Maintain operational excellence through structured project management, documentation, and adaptability to evolving requirements.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in event production or experiential marketing for large-scale conferences or brand activations (5,000+ attendees).
  • Experience working on the brand-side for creative B2C or B2B brands.
  • Expertise in experiential marketing — able to translate business objectives into actionable creative briefs and evaluate ROI-driven concepts.
  • Proven success managing agencies and external partners, with strong feedback and negotiation skills.
  • Hands-on sponsor experience — either managing sponsorship activations or fulfilling sponsorships on behalf of a brand.
  • Deep knowledge of event production disciplines (AV, F&B, floor plans, fabrication, logistics) and vendor management.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Exceptional project management proficiency (Asana or equivalent).
  • Flexibility to collaborate across global time zones (NAM, EMEA, APAC).
  • Willingness to travel several times per year for onsite events across North America.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience incorporating sustainability, accessibility, or AI-driven elements into live event design.

  • Passion for storytelling and audience engagement through experiential marketing.

Where You’ll Work
