Join HubSpot’s Core Experiences UX Team: Design What Our Customers Love

At HubSpot, our Core Experiences Product Design team shapes the main event—Content, Marketing, Sales, Service, and Commerce Hubs—where customers create, connect, sell, serve, and transact every day. Your work here will be seen and felt by millions, powering real business growth and helping companies thrive.

What Sets Core Experiences UX Apart?

  • Flagship Impact: Shape flagship Hubs—what our customers see, touch, and rely on daily.
  • Diverse Problems + Unified Purpose: Every project is different, but the mission is the same: make complex, powerful tools simple and valuable for real people and teams.
  • Craft + Innovation: We elevate end-to-end journeys, and we aren’t afraid to embrace new technology—including AI and automation—to unlock new value for users and designers alike.

What You’ll Do

  • Own End-to-End Experiences: Take charge of projects that impact one or more Core Hubs—from discovery to ship and iteration—delivering solutions that are beautiful, frictionless, and truly customer-centered.
  • Design With Craft and System Thinking: Build and refine UI, flows, and journeys that unify the experience across Hubs. Champion patterns, reduction, and clarity—so complex tasks feel as effortless as they are powerful.
  • Leverage Data, Analytics, and AI: Use smart data and customer insights—including automation/AI where it creates genuine value—to inform, validate, and measure design decisions.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work hand-in-hand with PMs, engineers, researchers, data/AI experts, and content designers to balance user, business, and technical needs. Influence the broader org through partnership and storytelling.
  • Measure, Learn, Iterate: Define success for every project, ship fast (and right), and continuously improve based on user and business outcomes.
  • Foster a Bold, Inclusive Culture: Elevate team craft, mentor others, share feedback, and help define what’s next for Core Experiences at HubSpot.

What You’ll Bring To HubSpot

  • Proven Product Design Craft Expertise: To stand out in the application process, share a portfolio that showcases depth of craft, systems thinking, and measurable impact on users and the business, especially in complex, scalable, or platform environments.
    • Please include at least three recent case studies highlighting these strengths.
  • Collaborative Leadership: A history of influencing outcomes across disciplines by building trust, driving alignment, and championing user-centric solutions.
  • Systems and Scale Thinking: Passion for connecting the dots across products and platforms, designing experiences that grow with our customers and business needs.
  • Adaptability & Change Readiness: Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive mindset in the face of change. You’re energized by new challenges and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • AI & Automation Curiosity: Excitement to work with (and continue learning about) AI and automation—whether to elevate customer experiences or optimize how we design and deliver.
  • Growth Mindset: A genuine drive to constantly learn, share knowledge, and help yourself and others get better, every day.

One more thing you should know…

There’s a lot of research showing how marginalized groups of people may not apply for jobs unless they meet 100% (or more!) of the qualifications. We also know that many UX folks come from backgrounds with different experiences that might not seem “standard”—and that’s okay! We really value people who bring unique perspectives and add new knowledge to our team.

But you might not feel like you “check all the boxes” as you read this job post. We get it. And we feel these things ourselves, too. But we hope you’ll apply anyway because we’ll take great care in working with you. 🧡

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. HubSpot is a place where everyone can grow. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.
