Partner Matching

We’re continuing our investment in the partner matching program, which aims to systematically connect customers with partners through an internal tool used by growth specialists (GS) and Customer Success Managers. This year, we’re opening eligibility to any partner with a gold tier or higher, beginning January 15th, 2026. We’re building off of our new AI-powered recommendation engine to utilize more unstructured data while also iterating our tool experience to better solve for our customers.

Accreditations

As the HubSpot product offerings and ecosystem become more complex, HubSpot, and its customers will rely on specialized partners for programs and projects. We continue to invest in solutions partners via our accreditations program.

To become accredited, platinum and above organizations must demonstrate they have the expertise, capacity, and practical experience to serve customers with complex technical and business needs. Accreditations are more rigorous than certifications — they have a set of prerequisites and require practical application.

In 2026, Accreditation applications will be open on a rolling basis, meaning eligible partners will have the ability to apply whenever is best for them and their teams.

Applications for the CRM Implementation and Onboarding accreditations can be submitted in French and Spanish, as well as English.

Partner Demo Portal Credits 

Starting in March 2026, partners will receive recurring monthly credits in their partner demo portals, allowing you to demo HubSpot’s agents and credit-consuming features to prospects. Credits are use-it-or-lose-it, so unused credits will not roll over to the next month.

Revamping Partner Program Entry

HubSpot is streamlining our partner program structure to create a simpler, more accessible path to partnership. Starting July 15, 2026, we're unifying our untiered and provider entry points into a single Solutions Partner program with a new $400/month partner program membership as the entry requirement (fee waived if your net product subscription exceeds net $400/month after discounts).

Why we're making this change: These updates address current friction in the partner journey by removing the immediate product purchase requirement, standardizing entry standards to strengthen customer outcomes and program credibility, and enabling faster partner activation through enhanced self-service in Partner Center. Additionally, all Solutions Partners will need to maintain >0 sourced points in a trailing 12-month period to remain in the program (enforced starting January 2027).

Important Dates:

  • February 25, 2026 – Provider program closes to new joiners
  • June 15, 2026 – Deadline for current partners to meet $400+/month net product subscription to have membership fee waived
  • July 15, 2026 – Partner program membership launches; new entry requirements take effect
  • August 15, 2026 – Provider program sunsets; all remaining Providers will be terminated with commissions ending immediately
  • January 2027 – Performance requirement (>0 sourced points) enforcement begins for program eligibility

These changes are designed to make it easier for partners to join and succeed while maintaining the quality and value our customers expect from the HubSpot partner ecosystem.

Your PDM is your primary contact at HubSpot, focused on short and long-term business development. They are dedicated to your success, helping you develop strategic plans to expand your HubSpot practice, drive sales efforts, and grow your customer base.

Program Benefit Descriptions

Revenue Share

 

Receive revenue share (also known as commission) from the deals you source. This means that any partner-sourced MRR (including upsell) will earn Revenue Share as long as a shared deal is created in line with the HSPPA and our Rules of Engagement, regardless of whether this is a new or existing customer to HubSpot and who originally sold to the customer.

Assisted Deals is one of the ways partners can collaborate and sell with HubSpot Growth Specialists. The HubSpot Upmarket Referral Program allows eligible partners to qualify for 20% commission on eligible deals for one year from the date sold. Eligible partners are platinum, diamond, or elite tier solutions partners in good standing who are also CRM Implementation accredited. Eligible deals are Partner Assisted deals with an MRR value of USD $3,000+, selling Professional or Enterprise level Subscription Services purchase to new and existing customers to HubSpot (this includes upsell or cross sell into the HubSpot install base).

People Support

 

As set out above, all solutions partners have access to a partner development manager (PDM), your single point of contact at HubSpot that helps you connect with other teams. The PDM’s responsibilities span across your entire business including, assisting with strategic planning, achieving growth plans, developing new business objectives, growing your install base, and aiming to ensure you build a successful HubSpot practice with the right accreditations and certifications.

Growth Specialists (referred to as GSs) are direct sales reps at HubSpot who you’ll co-sell with.

GSs are your day-to-day sales partners who collaborate with you on communications strategies, roles, responsibilities, and a closing plan for each deal. They provide support on demos, generating and sending quotes, and more. Once you register a deal, a GS will automatically be assigned to your deal based on geography and segment.

Partners have access to our support team for technical troubleshooting across phone, email, and chat, with access determined by their associated subscription level.

Elite partners and above receive an elevated experience, including priority routing to some of our most experienced specialists through all intake channels.

The Sales Specialists Team (SST) is a team of specialized account executives dedicated to selling HubSpot’s newest or underpenetrated opportunities by identifying, deploying, and scaling new playbooks. Their current core focus is on driving the next wave of growth by delivering deep expertise in Service Hub and the AI-powered Customer Agent.

Specialists sell both independently into the install base and co-sell alongside our broader sales organization on net-new deals to give our customers solution-specific expertise.

All HubSpot partners may be eligible for pre-sales Solutions Engineer (SE) support on qualifying opportunities. SEs are typically aligned to larger or more complex deals that have an assigned HubSpot Growth Specialist. Your Solutions Engineer can support technical discovery, solution design, and pre-sales strategy. When an SE is assigned to your deal, their information will be visible in Partner 53, where you can connect directly for collaboration.

SE alignment criteria may change over time as HubSpot evolves its partner strategy and support model.

Elite partners have access to our Success Solutions Consultants for client integration, system architecture and technical strategy needs beyond the scope of HubSpot Support. If you’re unsure if and how a client technical requirement can be accomplished using the HubSpot platform, talk to your PDM who will raise a support ticket on your behalf to engage the right internal HubSpotters who will assist your team to validate a potential approach.

Elite partners have access to the Partner Platform Services team. Think of them as an extension of your post-sale, customer strategy team. They workshop customer scenarios and answer integration-related strategy questions. Use them to strategize on a quarterly basis or connect with them as needed to help identify the right technical solution for a specific customer initiative.

Please be sure to review and follow our promotional guidelines when using these assets. Using the partner-specific badges and logos is always preferred, but if you have a use case that the HubSpot company logo or sprocket is more appropriate for, you must first submit a mock-up of your asset and seek approval for logo usage by completing this form.

Please note that logo request reviews can take between 7-10 business days. If your request is approved, you will receive a timed, private link to the Brandfolder where you can download high-res versions of the logos.

The HubSpot Academy Creator Program invites and enables external creators to enhance and expand the educational experiences for global learners and address educational gaps in emerging markets by providing educational content in the Academy App.

The program consists of three types of Creators:

  • Contributors can be anyone—from app and solutions partners to customers. They are eligible to create HubSpot Academy on-the-go videos, which are short, quick-answer videos.
  • Star Creators are external experts who provide a unique point of view on a topic and typically outside our partner ecosystem. They can create on-the-go videos, lessons, or full courses.
  • HubSpot Certified Trainers (HCTs) are required to be from a gold+ tiered or higher solutions partner and must apply to become a HubSpot Certified Trainer and complete the HubSpot Trainer Certification. Like star creators, they can create on-the-go videos, lessons, or full courses.
Partners must become HCTs before joining the program to create formal education such as lessons and courses. The HCT certification is not required to become contributors or star creator. If you’re interested in the Academy Creator Program, please submit your interest here.

Eligibility is evaluated across multiple factors, including, but not limited to: partner tier, accreditations, managed customer base, product usage, niche or industry expertise, and a proven track record of success in partner marketing initiatives such as Partner Growth Acceleration (PGA) and Market Development Funds (MDF).

These opportunities are selective, limited in availability, and not guaranteed. When extended, co-marketing may take the form of targeted, industry-specific campaigns, joint content creation, or other strategic initiatives designed to drive mutual value and measurable impact.

The Marketing Development Fund (MDF) is a global program supporting partner-led marketing initiatives across multiple regions—providing a structured opportunity for solutions partners to co-invest in local events and marketing activities that drive mutual growth. Partners can submit proposals for MDF via the partner resource portal.

Each submission goes through a regional review process to ensure alignment with program goals and strategic priorities. Submitting does not guarantee funding as opportunities remain selective and are evaluated based on strategic fit and expected impact.

Applications are open to all partner tiers, though priority is typically given to partners who demonstrate strong program engagement and business performance, including higher tier status, relevant accreditations, and proven track records. We recognize that different regions have unique needs, and exceptions may be made based on strategic business priorities and market opportunities.

The Partner Growth Accelerator (PGA) is a unique co-marketing program that brings together solutions and app partners to collaborate on joint marketing campaigns. This structured cohort-based program provides comprehensive training, expert guidance, and shared funding to help partners develop effective ecosystem partnerships that drive mutual growth.

Partners apply to join PGA cohorts on a rolling basis throughout the year. Once accepted, matched partner pairs participate in a 6-week program featuring live training sessions with industry experts, and access to playbooks and templates. At the program's conclusion, partners submit their campaign proposals for review, with approved campaigns receiving MDF funding.

Opportunities are evaluated based on factors including marketing capabilities, technical expertise, willingness to collaborate through account mapping tools, and strategic alignment with program goals. While we encourage partners to apply with a counterpart in mind, we also facilitate matches between solutions and app partners with complementary strengths.

3. Partner matching opportunities are not a guarantee and are subject to customers’ needs. Tier status is one layer of criteria we look at when determining eligibility, but is also based on customer retention, sourced MRR (partner collab), and certifications held. Priority is given to partners who have a higher sourced MRR (partner collab), hold accreditations, in addition to other criteria.

Deal registration is a custom-built tool that removes friction in the selling process. This tool ensures you get the credit you deserve on the deals you helped HubSpot close and win, and for which there’s a client-signed link as proof of your involvement (POI) in the sale. What makes our tools different is that registering a deal creates a shared deal that syncs between your portal and HubSpot’s CRM, so both parties have visibility.

Both the HubSpot sales representative and the partner will have visibility to comments, partner compensation eligibility, and associated products and quotes.

Every active solutions partner receives one HubSpot demo account with full Enterprise functionality. We’re making improvements in 2026 on the experience for partners in gaining access to demo beta functionality, generating industry-specific dummy data, and ensuring Partners have the same demo experience as our own Sales Reps. We’re also granting partners recurring monthly credits in their demo portals so they can demo HubSpot agents and credit-consuming features.

HubSpot requires product onboarding for specific products to ensure customer success on the software. A significant benefit of being a solutions partner is the ability to waive this standard HubSpot requirement for your clients, provided your business delivers those services instead.

By completing the HubSpot Solutions Partner certification, you officially demonstrate the required subject-matter expertise to waive the standard HubSpot-provided onboarding, allowing your customers to receive their onboarding directly through your organization.

Our Customer Reference Program (CRP) gives you access to a global network of high-value HubSpot users who have opted in to support qualifying deals. Your HubSpot Growth Specialist can request a reference directly on the deal record, and our Reference Fulfillment Operations team will handle matching, outreach, coordination, and customer gifting.

You can also nominate customers you believe would make excellent references by sharing the program’s signup link. Once opted in and meeting our usage criteria, they’ll be added to the advocate pool—and can choose to accept or decline any opportunity.

As a solutions partner, you get exclusive access to partner education, such as lessons, courses, and certifications that are gated only to partners. This education is designed to help you better market, sell and deliver HubSpot and your services, so you can grow and tier up. To access partner training, you will need to login to your primary HubSpot partner self-purchase account, then navigate to your profile drop-down in the top right, and click Academy.

In client management, you’ll also be able to manage your teams’ access to client accounts and assign Partner Admin permissions. As a solutions partner, your role is critical in managing our shared customers, also known as ‘your clients.’ But in order for you to do that effectively, you need to be able to view detailed information about your clients. New for 2025, the partner team has released a new object type in the CRM for partners called Partner Clients. This new object will make it easier for HubSpot Solutions Partners and HubSpot employees to work together to drive product activation and retention for our mutual customers.

Unified Usage Score is a metric HubSpot uses to inform us what our customers are doing or not doing within their subscription, which is available to partners to access across their managed clients. It simplifies retention-driving inputs across activation and usage. This provides you with a quick overview of a customer’s health and offers insights to help you decide when and how to engage them.

HubSpot is making it easier to migrate customer data from other CRM platforms to HubSpot. Currently, this supports the following platforms: ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive, Zoho, Copper, Dynamics 365, Mailchimp, and Keap. We built a tool that migrates contextual customer data (activities, emails, engagements) so customers start on HubSpot right where they left off in their other CRM platform and get value quickly. The free of charge tool doesn’t require any coding or API work so it’s easy and quick to carry out migrations.

To request access, you’ll need to submit a HubSpot Support Ticket via the in-app navigation within your portal.

All solutions partners have access to HubSpot’s partner resource portal, which is built on a PRM platform called Mindmatrix.

Within this resource portal, you have access to HubSpot’s approved sales collateral, such as one-pagers, pitch decks, and more. In addition, we have playbooks and campaign kits for your team to leverage to drive new business. All solutions partners will have access to free recurring training sessions run by the HubSpot partner team throughout the year. These training sessions will cover HubSpot’s products with expert speakers from our product team, along with sales upskilling training aimed at helping you develop and fine-tune your selling skills so you can source and close more business. For example, we run monthly Product Learning Hour training sessions.

Access an exclusive catalog of partner training to educate and develop specific roles at your organization, including sales, service, and implementation. Earn partner credentials to validate your expertise in a select group of strategic competencies. All available partner training and credentials can be found in the Partner Training tab of HubSpot Academy. Also, partners are encouraged to access our large library of general education within the Academy that is also available to customers and users.

The HubSpot Partner Slack is an exclusive community connecting Solutions Partners globally in real-time collaboration. This is your digital hub for peer-to-peer learning, opportunity sharing, and direct access to HubSpot expertise. It's one of the best venues for resolving client issues, finding integration specialists, or locating a co-pilot for complex, multi-region deals. Through the Slack, partners gain access to specialized channels for targeted discussions on topics.


To keep the workspace professional, valuable, and secure, members agree to:

  • Treat everyone with kindness and professionalism.
  • Keep discussions relevant to the channel purpose. Check channel descriptions and use threads to maintain organized conversations.
  • Share valuable content and insights, not just promotional material.
  • Don't share client information without permission, beta features, or any confidential HubSpot information. Honor all obligations under the HubSpot Solutions Partner Agreement (HSPPA).

Shape the future of HubSpot's Partner Program

Our Partner Advisory Councils (PACs) are where partner voices directly influence program decisions. This global Slack community connects you with HubSpot leadership on topics like AI, upmarket, marketing, growth, and collaboration.

What PAC members do:

  • Participate in async conversations that work across time zones
  • Join beta testing opportunities for new features
  • Attend roundtables and leadership AMAs
  • Give feedback on program changes and new tools
  • Connect directly with HubSpot stakeholders across the organization

How it works: Most communication happens async in Slack so you can engage when it works for your schedule. Depending on what HubSpot needs input on, we'll sometimes host formal meetings or calls.

Eligibility: PAC membership is open to gold, platinum, diamond, and elite tier partners.
